Legal Disclaimer:
NO Medical Advice:
The information provided on this website, in consultations, ceremonies, intake forms, conversations, emails, social media posts, or any related materials is for general educational, spiritual, ceremonial, and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or cure for any disease, illness, physical condition, mental health condition, or medical concern.
Kambo services are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health care, emergency care, diagnosis, treatment, medication, therapy, or advice from a licensed healthcare provider. Nothing on this website should be understood as a recommendation to start, stop, delay, or replace medical treatment.
Legal and Regulatory Notice:
Kambo may be unregulated or subject to changing laws, rules, and health regulations depending on the jurisdiction. It is the participant’s responsibility to understand the nature of the service being requested and to ask questions before participating. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as legal, medical, or regulatory advice.
Informed Consent Required:
Participation in any Kambo session requires informed consent. You may be required to complete an intake form, disclose relevant health information, review contraindications, and sign a separate waiver and release before participating. The practitioner reserves the right to refuse service when participation may present safety, ethical, legal, or practical concerns.
Emergency Disclaimer
Kambo ceremonies are not emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe symptoms, suicidal thoughts, chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, severe allergic reaction, confusion, seizure, or any urgent health concern, call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical attention.
NO Medical Claims:
We do not claim that Kambo diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or mitigates any illness, disease, disorder, addiction, infection, pain condition, mental health condition, or other medical issue. Any descriptions of Kambo, traditional ceremonial use, personal experiences, testimonials, or potential benefits are not intended to be medical claims and should not be relied upon as evidence of safety, effectiveness, or guaranteed results.
Individual experiences vary, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Known Risks and Participant Responsibility:
Kambo involves the application of frog secretion to superficial openings in the skin and may produce intense physical reactions. These reactions can include, but are not limited to, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, dizziness, fainting, swelling, changes in heart rate or blood pressure, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, allergic reactions, and other serious or unexpected effects. In rare cases, serious injury, hospitalization, or death has been reported in connection with Kambo use.
By choosing to participate, you acknowledge that Kambo carries inherent risks and that you are voluntarily assuming responsibility for your participation. You agree to provide complete and accurate health information before any session and to disclose all medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, surgeries, substance use, pregnancy status, and relevant health history.
Consult a Licensed Healthcare Provider:
You should consult with a licensed physician or qualified healthcare provider before participating in Kambo, especially if you have any medical condition, take prescription or over-the-counter medications, use supplements, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of heart disease, blood pressure issues, stroke, seizures, fainting, severe allergies, kidney or liver disease, mental health conditions, eating disorders, or any other health concern.
Do not participate in Kambo if you have been advised by a healthcare provider to avoid intense physical stress, dehydration, vomiting, purging, or changes in blood pressure or heart rate.
Payment, Consultation, and Booking Policy
Before beginning services with Tara, all prospective clients must complete the required pre-screen questionnaire and client consent waiver form. Prospective clients must also request an initial consultation. Completion of these forms does not guarantee approval for a Kambo session.
After reviewing the submitted forms, Tara will determine whether an initial consultation is appropriate. If approved, Tara will contact the prospective client to schedule a required 20-minute phone consultation.
The 20-minute consultation has a required fee of $35.00. This fee is non-refundable. If Tara determines, in her sole discretion, that Kambo may be appropriate and safe for the client, the $35.00 consultation fee may be applied toward the client’s Kambo care/session fee.
Tara reserves the right to decline services at any time based on safety concerns, contraindications, incomplete or inaccurate intake information, ethical concerns, or any other reason she determines appropriate.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Clients must provide at least 7 days’ notice to cancel or request to reschedule a Kambo session.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with fewer than 7 days’ notice may result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit. No-shows will also result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Tara may cancel, decline, or reschedule a session at any time due to safety concerns, incomplete intake information, contraindications, emergency circumstances, practitioner availability, or any concern that makes the session inappropriate to proceed. If Tara cancels a session for reasons unrelated to the client’s failure to disclose information, failure to follow preparation instructions, or late cancellation, the deposit may be transferred to a future approved session or refunded at Tara’s discretion.
Accepted Forms of Payment:
Tara currently accepts payment by Zelle or cash only. Payment instructions will be provided directly after the client has completed the required intake process and has been approved to move forward.
Deposits:
All Kambo sessions require a 50% deposit in order to reserve and confirm the appointment time. Appointments are not considered scheduled or confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
All deposits are non-refundable, including in cases of client cancellation, rescheduling outside of the permitted cancellation window, no-shows, or failure to complete required preparation instructions.
Client Responsibility:
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and honest information during the intake, consultation, and waiver process. Failure to disclose relevant medical history, medications, supplements, substance use, pregnancy status, allergies, health conditions, or other important information may result in refusal of service and forfeiture of any paid fees or deposits.
By submitting payment, booking a consultation, or scheduling a Kambo session, the client acknowledges and agrees to this payment, cancellation, and booking policy.
